House Approves Rep. Mrvan VHA Leadership Transformation Act
WASHINGTON, Nov. 23 -- Rep. Frank Mrvan, D-Indiana, issued the following news release on Nov. 22, 2024:
Today, Rep. Frank J. Mrvan announced that the House has approved his legislation, H.R. 1256, the Veterans Health Administration Leadership Transformation Act.
This legislation was included in H.R. 8371, the Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvements Act, and was approved by the U.S. House earlier this week by a vote of 389 to 9.

HAMMOND, Indiana, Nov. 23 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana issued the following news release:
Tido Kirby, 44 years old, of Chicago, Illinois was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Philip P. Simon after pleading guilty to distributing fentanyl, announced United States Attorney Clifford D. Johnson.

An Indiana man has pleaded guilty in a drug trafficking conspiracy that distributed fentanyl throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, announced U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger.
