15 Military Hospitals Receive Leapfrog's Highest Safety Grade
WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- The U.S. Department of Defense issued the following news:
The Defense Health Agency announced 15 military hospitals got an "A" rating in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade Fall 2024 assessment. This grade reflects the DHA's ongoing dedication to transparency and to providing high-quality, safe care to service members and their families.

Ky. U.S. Attorney: Louisville Man Sentenced to Over 16 Years in Federal Prison for Cocaine Trafficking Conspiracy
LOUISVILLE, Kentucky, Nov. 20 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky issued the following news release:
A Louisville man was sentenced this week to 16 years and 6 months in federal prison for conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.

Ky. U.S. Attorney: Woodford County Man Sentenced for Fentanyl Trafficking
LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Nov. 20 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky issued the following news release on Nov. 19, 2024:
A Versailles, Ky., man, Cameron Spencer, 34, was sentenced to 262 months in prison on Monday, by Chief U.S. District Judge Danny Reeves, for possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl.

U.S. Chemicals Safety Board Deploys Team to Investigate Fatal Explosion at Givaudan Facility in Louisville, Ky.
WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- The U.S. Chemical Safety Board issued the following news release on Nov. 18, 2024:
Today the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) announced that it is sending a team of investigators to Louisville, Kentucky, to investigate the fatal explosion that occurred last week on November 12, 2024, at the Givaudan Sense Colour facility in Louisville, KY. Two employees were killed and eleven others were injured by the explosion.
