CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Nov. 14 -- West Virginia State Treasurer Riley Moore issued the following news release on Nov. 13, 2024:

Mark Sorsaia will be sworn in as a judge in the Twenty-Ninth Judicial Circuit (Putnam County) in a ceremonial investiture at 3 p.m. Friday, November15, in a third-floor courtroom at the Putnam County Judicial Building in Winfield.

BUCKHANNON, West Virginia, Nov. 12 -- West Virginia Wesleyan College issued the following news:
BUCKHANNON, West Virginia West Virginia Wesleyan College is hosting the 2024 North Central West Virginia Honor Band Nov. 17-19. More than 120 students from 35 different schools around the state will arrive Sunday, Nov. 17 and will spend three days on campus, engaging in rehearsals, team-building activities, and several other events geared towards making the honor band experience truly unique.

WVDOH Provides Update on I-64 Barboursville Work Zone Signage and Safety Review
CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Nov. 14 -- The West Virginia Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) is expediting the next periodic review of the Interstate 64 work zone in Barboursville following two tractor-trailer crashes last week which shut down the interstate in both directions on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Both were determined to be the result of driver error.
