Ark. Gov. Sanders Appoints Gary Arnold to Arkansas State Board of Education
LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas, Nov. 2 -- Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, R-Arkansas, issued the following news release on Nov. 1, 2024:
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders today announced that she has appointed Gary Arnold to serve on the Arkansas State Board of Education. This is Governor Sanders' third appointment to the Board of Education. Arnold, whose term will expire on June 30, 2027, is replacing Steve Sutton.

U of O to Add Graphic Design Major in Fall 2025
CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas, Nov. 2 -- The University of the Ozarks issued the following news:
The University of the Ozarks' Board of Trustees recently approved the creation of a graphic design major during its fall meeting in October.
The graphic design major will be implemented beginning the Fall 2025 Semester and will be a part of the University's art program.
