EPA to Review Cleanups at 47 Southeast Superfund Sites This Year
WASHINGTON, Nov. 1 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:
ATLANTA (October 30, 2024) - Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that comprehensive reviews will be conducted of completed cleanup work at 47 Superfund sites in the Southeast.
The sites, located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, will undergo a legally required Five-Year Review to ensure that previous remediation efforts at the sites
