Disaster Recovery Center Opening in Edgefield County
WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release: A Disaster Recovery Center will open in Edgefield County to provide in-person assistance to South Carolinians affected by Hurricane Helene. FEMA Administrator Meets Officials and Survivors in South Carolina and Checks on Helene Recovery Efforts as Assistance to Survivors Surpasses $1 Billion
WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release: FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell traveled to South Carolina to meet with local and state officials today and check-in on long-term recovery efforts.
