WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 -- Rep. Jeff Jackson, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Rep. Jeff Jackson introduced the bipartisan No Gratuities for Governing Act to close a loophole in federal law, allowing state and local officials to take gratuities after official actions. Congressman Jackson was joined by Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) in introducing the bill.
