Department of Commerce Announces 2024 Appointments to the Regional Fishery Management Councils
WASHINGTON, July 31 -- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued the following news:
Today, the Department of Commerce announces the appointment of new and returning members to the Pacific and North Pacific regional fishery management councils. Earlier this summer the Secretary of Commerce announced the appointment of 22 members to the other six regional fishery management councils.

Justice Dept.: Court Permanently Stops Mississippi Professionals and Business From Organizing and Selling "Tax Plans"
WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 -- The U.S. Department of Justice issued the following news release on Aug. 1, 2024:
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi entered permanent injunctions yesterday against Thomas Walt Dallas, Jason Todd Mardis and Capital Preservation Services LLC to bar them from making statements about tax benefits for compensation, among other relief.
