Mo. House Passes 'Valentine's Law,' Increasing Penalties for Fleeing, Resisting, or Interfering With Arrest
JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri, March 29 -- The Missouri House issued the following news:
The Missouri House this week voted to increase the criminal penalties for resisting or interfering with an arrest, or fleeing from law enforcement. The bill is named in honor of a St. Louis County Police Detective who was killed by a fleeing suspect, in 2021.

JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri, March 30 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
Missouri Department of Natural Resources, along with Downtown Joplin Alliance through their Endangered Properties Program, is seeking Solicitations of Interest for the redevelopment of the Joplin Union Depot.
