Heinrich Bill to Support Local Firefighters and Emergency Responders Passes Senate
WASHINGTON, April 21 -- Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-New Mexico, issued the following news release:
Two federal programs at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have provided over $15.3 million to local fire departments in New Mexico. Those programs, plus funding for the United States Fire Administration (USFA), are set to expire unless Congress acts.
