Bureau of Reclamation: Temporary Low Flows At Rapid Creek Should Increase By End Of Week
RAPID CITY, South Dakota, Dec. 6 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation issued the following news release:
The Bureau of Reclamation began lowering the water levels into Rapid Creek late last week to conduct repairs to the Pactola Reservoir left regulating gate. In coordination with our partner at the City of Rapid City, Reclamation temporarily lowered levels to 11 cubic feet per second (cfs) to facilitate required repairs to the dam.

S.D. U.S. Attorney: Lake Andes Man Indicted for Wire Fraud, Theft From Indian Tribal Organization
SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, Dec. 10 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of South Dakota, Alison J. Ramsdell, issued the following news release:
United States Attorney Alison J. Ramsdell announced that a federal grand jury has indicted a Lake Andes, South Dakota, man for 18 counts of Wire Fraud and two counts of Theft From an Indian Tribal Organization.
