WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- Rep. Brett Guthrie, R-Ky., has introduced the Department of Health and Human Services Cybersecurity Coordination Act (H.R. 9229) "to amend the Public Health Service Act to codify certain recommendations made by the Government Accountability Office with respect to the Department of Health and Human Services and cybersecurity." David Trone, D-Md., has introduced legislation (H.R. 9221) to "establish an awareness campaign related to the lethality of fentanyl and fentanyl-contaminated drugs, to establish a Federal Interagency Work Group on Fentanyl Contamination of Illegal Drugs, and to provide community-based coalition enhancement grants to mitigate the effects of drug use."
