Rep. Rochester Introduces Bill to Support Nursing Workforce
WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester, D-Del., has introduced legislation (H.R. 8817) to "amend the Public Health Service Act to support and stabilize the existing nursing workforce, establish programs to increase the number of nurses."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 14 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Young Kim, R-Calif. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Sen. Whitehouse Introduces Bill to Amend Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971
WASHINGTON, Sept. 14 -- Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., has introduced legislation (S. 4822) to "amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to provide for additional disclosure requirements for corporations, labor organizations, Super political action committees (PACs) and other entities."
